135th Kentucky Derby 2009 Online Ticket Application

The promotional period to enter for the January 2009 drawings for the opportunity to purchase 2009 Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks tickets has officially passed. In the event that more tickets become available, applications are still being taken. This however, in no way guarantees applicants, an opportunity to purchase tickets to the 2009 Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks.

The vast majority of available tickets will be in the Grandstand area. In most cases, Clubhouse tickets are reserved for sponsors, owners, trainers and top Twin Spires Club members. The 2008 price for the first floor grandstand seating area was between $72-$93 dollars. These prices are subject to change for 2009.
By applying for 2009 Kentucky Derby tickets, applicants are automatically enrolled to purchase 2009 Kentucky Oaks tickets. In order to be eligible for 2009 Derby tickets or 2009 Kentucky Oaks tickets, applicants must purchase an equal number of Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby tickets. No exceptions.

General admission tickets were $40 to the 2008 Kentucky Derby and $25 for the 2008 Kentucky Oaks. These prices are subject to change for 2009.
